She should have went through it anyway. She would have also made a bundle of money by doing the talk show circuit.

It's called the "Stockholm Syndrome". It isn't necessarily linked to being a physical captive, it's also psychological. And, forget the idea of being in a talk show or making money. Most victims don't want anyone to know they are or have been in an abusive relationship. And, if someone does find out, the victim distances themselves from that person. It's having been brainwashed by the abuser. On top of that, many victims have low self-esteem, were raised in an abusive home, or were indoctrinated by religious beliefs. And, the abusers are skilled at finding these types of people. They seem to have a radar for finding these types of women, as bullies find the meek in school to pick on.

I work with someone who just found out that her sister was secretly married to an abuser. Her sis didn't want her family to know.

We have the NRA to thank for George Zimmerman being on the streets of Florida. Their supporters poured hundreds f thousands of dollars into his defense fund. Zimmerman is a serial abuser and a murderer and why any sane woman with a shred of self respect would consider dating him is beyond reason.

One day we will read that George Zimmerman has been shot and killed. His days are numbered. Karma is a bitch that never sleeps. It's the foolish, vulnerable women that seem attracted to him and the youth in his neighborhood that I worry about. He is nothing but a domestic terrorist and will strike again before he is struck down, and he will be.
