Stevie Wonder Writing Score for Broadway Musical Underground Railroad

Stevie Wonder is in involved in two exciting events that I am looking forward to.


Betty DeRamus' acclaimed book "Forbidden Fruit: Love Stories From the Underground Railroad" will be made into an eight-hour miniseries titled "Freedom Run." Stevie Wonder will be executive producer.

In addition, "Forbidden Fruit: Love Stories From the Underground Railroad" is in development as a Broadway stage musical with Stevie Wonder providing the score. Charles Randolph-Wright will write the book.
