Legendary Motown Funk Brother guitarist Eddie Willis, has played his world renowned "chank" style on more hits than The Beatles, Elvis, The Rolling Stones and The Beach Boys COMBINED! Mr. Willis and his wife Rose, are suffering tremendous financial difficulties. Due to the declining health issues he suffers from polio, Eddie is unable to go out on the road and perform any longer and has no means to provide for himself other than his meager disability check each month, which is not meeting his needs. Those of us who personally know Eddie and Rose Willis, know firsthand that they are living an extremely humble existence. For those that are unfamiliar about the story of Motown's unheralded heroes, simply watch their award winning documentary that tells the story of Motown's house band, in "Standing in the Shadows of Motown. If any of you reading this have enjoyed a Motown song, or if Motown was the soundtrack of your life, please find it within your heart to donate even the smallest of donations to help a man who, along with all of The Funk Brothers, brought so very much joy to generations of music lovers! Eddie would thank you and say, " God bless you."
