    Honey Cone

The Honey Cone were one of my favorite groups from H-D-H's Invictus/Hot Wax/Music Merchant labels. Edna Wright was awesome on lead and the group had some unforgettable hits in the early 70's. Too bad they had a short run

I thought it would be fun to look back at some of their great performances and recordings.

Here's "One Monkey Don't Stop No Show"

They had a short run but what a run it was! This is one group that had the voices and the look but they didnt have time to cultivate their identities. Very talented.
