I don't think I ever saw this. Looks like Diana was supposed to introduce the Jackson 5, but they jumped the gun stepped on stage first. Almost a Someday Motown 25 moment.
In the closeup of Michael, it looks like he borrowed some of Jermaine's shoe polish for his hairline. I never noticed that in other videos.
I'm glad that they acknowledged Gladys and Bobby. It was clarified that Diana only used her star power to introduce them to the world on Sullivan. She took no credit for discovering them
What a moment for "B. G." as well, seeing the Jackson 5 rise to such heights and getting this accolade. It must have broke his heart when he spoke at Michael's funeral service.
I can just hear the outrage from the rockists.
Jobetrob here is the full unedited video. This one has Diana introducing the parents and Berry Gordy's speech. Maybe you can edit your post and put this one up so that people who enter the thread will see this first.

LOL, will try but that sounds challenging for me!
What I noticed was that by this time, Michael's appearance had already started to become unusual.
I also noticed Diana had a greater connection with Michael than the others.
You just have to remove the url/youtube link and replace it.
I think I managed to do the edit to the long unedited version.
What year was this again?
I liked that video.
An affirmation that they were at least, at times, a happy cohesive family.
And also an affirmation from the Jacksons that there was room for Berry Gordy, Diana Ross, Suzanne dePasse, Bobby Taylor and Gladys Knight to discover them!
I just watched it again in the full version. It was very enjoyable. Michael was charming. I loved it when he directed what angle he wanted from the cameraman.
Thanks for posting --- I remember this but it brought back memories of J5. They were the ultimate.

Props to the Jacksons they gave everyone credit who had a hand in discovering them. Diana looked great as usual. Berry Gordy is not shy in front of a crowd.
