To be honest, I've always liked the Frankie Valli version. but I concede it doesn't sound as good as I remember. Of course Brenda's version is superior by far, and Mosogotam proves once again that you can't have too much of a good thing.

You've done it again, Methuselah2 -- another super-rare Motown treasure which I had never seen before. Wonderful vocal performance by Brenda Holloway, as always! And Mosogotam did a great job on not only the extended audio mix, but in synchronizing the extended video with the extended audio as well. Thanks so much for sharing. I really enjoyed it! - Gary

Frankie's version is OK - I think his voice could carry most songs over the finish line. That vid of Brenda has got to be the best Motown clip from the era, bar none. And it's a song I never tire of hearing.

Soulwally - I agree with you--there's just something about that song and Brenda. I'll never understand why it wasn't a huge hit at the time of its release but it has since become so recognized as a great recording. And so recognized as Brenda's.
