Barbra Streisand made history this week when her new CD debuted at number one on Billboard. She is the only recording artist to have No. 1 albums in six consecutive decades.

She did a lot of TV promotion and interviews last week and her record company also did a lot of promotion. They were determined to debut the album at number one and they succeeded.

A great accomplishment for someone her age but I wonder if this CD will hold up as well. But it will probably have a resurgence at Christmas when it gets bought for parents and grandparents and great grandparents.

Wow! Now that is a noteworthy accomplishment. Congratulations to Babara Streisand! Number ones in the 60s, 70s, 80s,90s, 00s and the 10s! Amazing.

I see her albums remains #3............out legging Bennett and Gaga. People actually don't steal the Streisand songs.
