Back in the day, I always thought The Zombies were a terrific band and loved their recordings. Still do.

This footage is a real curiosity piece. Very much of its day. And today is the day to see it [[at least it was for me). The dancers couldn't help but grab the attention.

I think you pretty well nailed it, BigAl. But they certainly gave it their best shot, and the dancers definitely got into the swing of things. For me, a fun bit of a time capsule.

I liked them on their own material, but that is not good. There were many other British groups at the time who did Motown covers much better.

But we did recognise the brilliance and respect of the Beatles for Motown, who also did a massive amount of popularising and promotion of the Motown sound in the UK
