it's on Page 26, sorry..
Really enjoyed your article, Jimi. Sounds like Ross is performing at the top of her game. Thanks for the link with your review.
It's my regular column...I reviewed Ralph's book, The Road Through Motown, in Rhythm Tracking a while ago... and the "Funny Girl" digital release, etc...
the columns appear on Facebook every other week..
Thanks, enjoyed reading your reviews.
Thanks for reviewing my book, Jim. I didn't realize. Hope it was reasonably favorable.
I'm enjoying it over here in the UK, Ralph.....
Every time I glance at the front cover or the spine, and see those words 'The Road Through..' in that wavering line, I think "I must get an eye test...."
I'm sure I sent you a copy in the mail, Ralph, and e mailed the text..it was a while ago, you had sent me a copy that I had requested for review..my proudest achievement was actually being on Motown's promo mailing list starting around 1972-ish, wish I had saved all those lps and those red and blue vinyl promo singles.. I am really stupid with things..and yes, it was a quite favorable review, the book is a very enjoyable and informative read..
I don't remember receiving anything in the mail, Jim, but I certainly appreciate the review.
West...Glad I'm doing well with you in the UK. The wavering lines are probably some sort of metaphor reflecting my advancing age.
Think that should read 'our advancing age', Ralph.
I should never have admitted to being more than 39 years. Now I'm 'early elderly', and I'm staying that way....
Glad to see Diana keeping it all going, and doing it so well.
Early elderly is good, West. I'll hang on to that.
