I play my CDs in rotation and today one came around that I have to admit that I like more every time I hear it so I thought I would mention it on here to not only plug it, but maybe ask about the artist as well. It is by an attractive young black lady named Beverly Ellis and the title is "A Diamond Won't Cut it."

I don't even remember where I got this, maybe a cut-out bin or maybe an auction, but I do remember assuming that she would be an R and B singer, only to find out that the CD is pure country. It is a 1999 release and I think you can still get it on Amazon and maybe other places as well.

Anyway, each cut is well-crafted, nicely-arranged, and it is just an overall quality CD. Just now, when I looked for it on Amazon, it had eight 5-star reviews so it is not just my opinion.

So does anyone know anything about this young lady? Unfortunately this appears to be her one and only release.
