One of his Ric-Tic sides. This was made for the Contours or Shorty Long.

I enjoyed hearing those tracks soulballad. Thank you

Andre Williams was still touring a few years ago as far away as the south of France. I left Montpellier to return to London a week before he was due to appear. I would have loved to have seen him.

According to Wiki, he did write for Alvin Cash. After listening to this it sounds like something he would have had a part in. Mr. Williams had a real raunchy bluesy side This was grown people's music! Hahaha

Andre Williams could set up a groove like nobody. Alvin Cash, the Five DuTones, and so many others. Mack Rice told me that when he wrote Mustang Sally, it was to a Hi Heel Sneaker groove. Andre produced the record and HE set it up as it appeared.

Bettye said some of the Detroit folks would have him come to a session just to count it off.

    Nope!!

But I can go one better .. I have a vinyl copy of the Mar-V-Lus L.P.and ANDRE WILLIAMS has his name all over it, plus a write-up about how the "Twine" dance came about, seems ANDRE WILLIAMS was the A&R man at Mar-V-Lus at the time ....

I'd go for the Bail out for fun LP as the best of the 3 LP's released.

I love the Maxayne LPs, but that is Andre Lewis, not Andre Williams.
