Guns 'n Roses was one of the headliners at the past weekends Rock On the Range music festival here in central Ohio. I was discussing it with a co-worker who went just moments ago [[before I read this thread) and he said that by the second song of their set, fans were leaving in droves to go to the other stages. I'm pretty sure the band was tight, so my assumption from the discussion is that Axl's great range ran them away. Perhaps the most egotistical frontman ever, he ran a great band away when they were at least as responsible for the group's success as he was.
And this morning there are reports that after their set in Las Vegas, he's busting the group up again. He probably blames them for the poor concert experience.
