I found myself listening to this gal earlier tonight...what an underrated performer! Does anyone know what she's up to these days or have any idea about possible reissues of her work? The stuff she did with Ashford & Simpson is brill!

Had her album on vinyl, I would definitely buy it as a reissued CD or Heaven forbid, a digital download only. Unfortunately, I cannot remember any song titles and my LP is sitting in a storage space miles away.

I have three LP's by her. I think Ashford and Simpson may have been her background vocals along with Ray Simpson who is Valerie's brother. I remember songs like "Want Ads", "Bad Company" and "Men Kiss and Tell".
