ANOTHER pretty disgusting individual. Disgusting that he holds such racists views but mostly because he tries to get himself out of it by pretending that he is really not a racist, but just a dumb ass that does not understand why what he said was wrong! I see it on this forum even.......from time to time.
One thing I don't like about modern living.
I felt this way when cable TV started.
They have to fill the air with what they call news.
Stupid ignorance is just that.
It is not news.

Let's carry this to the new thread.
As for Phil Robertson, who said some pretty sickening things about gays, notice how many white support him and his show? Teenagers wear their clothing. Major stores like Walmart and Kroger carry their products. Cracker Barrel did a backstep when they tried to remove their products. I've heard some similar disgusting about gays from everyday people. "Put all the f****ts on a desert island and shoot them so they won't rape boys." Really? Just the other day, some old white guy made a nasty remark to me about Jews. I hear nasty stuff about Mexicans. I used to think all this stuff would go away when these old farts died off, but they just keep coming like roaches. Fox news, Michael Savage, Rush Limbaugh, and other just keep inbreeding them.
Oh yeah! I've been following this from the beginning. And, I hear ignorant-ass old white men say that "the slaves were happy with their lot" quite a bit around here. Man, i'm just waiting for one of them to bring up Jeremiah Wright, Al Sharpron, or Jesse Jackson [[again). That's all they know. Those jackasses are just upset because their darling tea-bagger patriot just voiced to the world what they only say to themselves.
Not Sean Hannity finds himself at risk of losing his support from the radicals he supported all these years.
Do you know what those armed militias were going to do last week? They were going to put women and children on their front lines in case they government started shooting. You know what kind of groups use those tactics? Terrorists! And, those are the kind or people these "patriots" are. They always have been. The reason they are so anti-government is because the government has things in place to help "dem darkies and god-hating socialists". And, now they won't even recognize the government because one of 'em's the head of it. It's racism, pure and simple!
Oh, let me leave you with this one thought before I hit the sack: Next time you eat beef, think about where that burger, that steak, that prime rib came from: it could have come from Cliven Bundy.
Here's another article about nostalgia for slavery days. It's not just limited to deadbeat ranchers in Nevada...the man profiled here is the Lt. Governor of South Carolina. http://takingnote.blogs.nytimes.com/...s/?ref=opinion
Fox News was giving the rancher major coverage and support until he made his remarks about slavery. Now they're running away from him. He made the mistake, in their eyes, of speaking openly and honestly rather than in code and dog whistles, which is the usual Republican approach when it comes to talking about race for public consumption. Lee Atwater helped perfect that approach when he was alive.
They can't help it. That's why that senator from Missouri got beat in the last election cycle for stating that a woman can't become pregnant from a violent rape. They all say these things when they're alone and some are so stupid that they don't know when not to speak.
As for "Duck Dynasty", the sponsors realized that there were not enough people in support of gays to damage their bottom line, so they decided they didn't have to take a moral high road. As with everything, it all comes down to money.
Exactly! Pat Buchanan and Ronald Reagan had the code down pat, but none of the current people in the republiKKKan side have that kind of finesse today, not even Rand Paul or Chris Christie. The tea-bagger wing gets off on that nasty bluntness. It will be kind of interesting to see if people Like Sean Hannity, who has been courting the extremists like the birthers all these years, get rebranded as "the establishment" in their attempt to run away from Bundy.
I cant wont and will never watch Fox News. Its real right wing and real hateful and real racist imo.
Interesting that everyone here [[except you dear smarks21) whos real upset with the racist rancher and they should be, gave Lee Atwater a free pass over in the main forum last week and the week before smh at the cherry picking that go on in this here forum.

I think it's funny that ever single time the GOP tries to "rebrand" itself, something happens that reminds everyone that they are incapable of it. They may be denouncing the cattle rancher now, but they'll be back to their old talking points. I give them less than a week.
