    I love this song and cannot decide which version I prefer by the following artists,

    Intruders, Donald McCollum, William DeVaughn, Omar & Angie Stone

    How many more versions of this wonderful song are there and which is your favourite?

    Donald McCollum's version is pretty good I have to say.

    There is only one version in my opinion and that is the one by William DeVaughn. When I saw the title of this thread, it just made me remember that it has been .....gulp, 40 years since that great year in music, 1974! I just can't believe how the time has flown.......

    I agree. I love the song. And love it even more after Tom Moulton re-mixed it but left its integrity intact

    I like the William DeVaughn version on the original Roxbury 45. The bass is deep on that one.
