I knew him from Second City and Ghostbusters but I didnt know he had all of these writing credits. He was a funny guy RIP.
I enjoyed his work on SCTV through Ghostbusters. Always thought he was Canadian. RIP Harold and thanks man.....

I thought that he was as funny as Bill Murray in "Stripes". The thing about his writing is that someone told you in advance he had a role in a film, you'd recognize his lines as easily as the actors speaking them. I was greatly disappointed in "Year One" because I thought that it was one of his worst efforts, but I liked a lot of his other output. RIP.
I've always loved him in Ghostbusters since I was a kid, but since I've seen Stripes, he's cracked me up even more.
One of my all-time favorite movies is "Caddyshack", and I thought he did a good job as an actor in "Ghostbusters". RIP, Harold, and thank you...
Best,
Mark
