You should've ducked, westgrand!!
Next time, I'm taking an umbrella.
Either that or a colorful poncho would do in a pinch.
Yes, or a throw would do. Failing that, a water cannon. That would be fighting fire with fire.....
Do you remember those super soakers?
Yes, and I can remember wondering why anyone would want to soak someone else with a glorified water pistol.....well, not without permission. Otherwise, it seemed like an assault. In certain circumstances though, quite useful...
Especially the situation you have described!!
It makes me think back to the days when we all would all eat out, surrounded by second hand cigarette smoke. Up to 25 years ago, I was contributing to that cigarette smoke.
I certainly don't miss those days.....
If the snowballs are directed at strangers, I can see how that action could, in literally the wrong hands, be construed as having possible malicious intent or, at the very least, to cause discomfort. Better to get a lawyer draw up a contract for a consensual snowball session.
In the old days, they would just retaliate. It was part of our heritage.
Like a snowball rolling down the side of a snow covered hill!!
It was mainly children who would threw snowballs. They now seek far more sophisticated activities, like taking intimate selfies, and sending them to complete strangers via the internet. Ah, the innocence of youth.....
I threw a snowball once, but it came back to me.
With a stone in it. Even snowballs now have an attitude.....
Well it actually had a bill on it,it charged me for throwing it...snowballs today have no sense of humor.
When there's no credit available, you can often expect a chargeback.
It's all your fault!
You reaped what you snowed....
Many happy returns, R&B!!
Watch out when it brings its friends along for the party. They'll really get under your feet.
What's under my feet right now? More snow!!!!
I-cy! I have no pity for that downtrodden snow...
And it was bad again! Five more inches! Freezing temperatures to go with it.
The only snow of the season here was a sprinkling overnight a few days ago, and then disappeared very quickly in the morning sunshine.
I wish that was us, westgrand!!
I'm sat here at my bureau [[came to me after my Mum died, and is the same family heirloom I used to do my homework in the 60s - and now I'm in my own 60s), and it's a lovely sunny, if chilly day outside, in Florida UK. Blue sky, with a few fluffy clouds. OK, I bet that makes ya feel sick, but just reporting it as it is....
p.s. is it enough snow for you to ski there...if that's your thing?
This post is slushy.
If it's slushy, keep a good grip on this post.
Yes, the skiing conditions are excellent.
Then away you go. Watch out for those chicanes, Moe!
That's all I need, westgrand!!!
Hey,who threw that snowball??
It was Moe. All that snow can make her turn a tad competitive - !
What an arm,she hit my screen dead center, hey moe we have a team in dc that could use your skills.
There's a team in the White House could use her skills.....
The white house will have to wait,in this town football comes first although we're always last.
The last shall become first.
The Redskins are still last, unfortunately.
Are they the team that it has been suggested should change its name?
Morning westgrand! Unfortunately you are correct; it's the Redskins
Right. It's been their name ever since....but times do change, and people can be offended....a tricky one.....
I have no idea how this will end up.
I expect it will result in a name change, but it will require a lot of legal work. Awkward if the name cannot then even be given reference [[which seems logical), as in 'formerly known as The Redskins', unless that it is agreed that the name could be used in that context for a period of time, to allow for adjustment.....
You remember"The Artist formerly known as Prince?"
Yes.....He's known as Prince.
And I recall that, when she finished playing with numbers, Dionne Warwicke changed her name again...to Dionne Warwick...
Unfortunately money rules this country,so the name will stay because some palms will get greased[native american palms]and they will get the new stadium back in dc mark my words.
