What's it doing there? On vacation?

    arr&bee,

Your thread & Dyvanaye's "SDF Anonymous" threads was the true inspiration behind "Malletcatraz", a thread that was one of the funniest things that I've ever seen.

I believe that I saved your thread. As I recall it, the forum instituted the use of a password & you were kinda locked out. While we could all see what you were writing, it seemed as though you couldn't read any of it.

That gave me the idea to be tossed in a dungeon by Dyvanaye & her co-horts, where I'd have a one-way conversation with myself just as you had done.

Truthfully, it was just going to be a one-sided thing where I'd just write whatever I dreamed up. But once Wicked, Dollar Bill & the rest got involved, it just went in totally different directions, depending upon what someone came up with that day.

That made it much funnier than what I'd imagined because most times the funniest things come from people playing off of one another. Those threads will never be forgotten by me & fortunately, I saved most of what wasn't deleted.

Sadly, that thread never truly went where it could've gone & certainly was never wrapped up satisfactorily.

I sometimes dream of a day where it could be recaptured, but as with many things, the natural flow is the best & you just can't recreate something like that began from nowhere, then took on a life of its own.

    But Lord...it was really something

I still haven't quite figured out how this 'last word' thread worked.

Was it something similar to the Word Association thread?

'My Sister And I' get along fine, as long as there's a county between us.

She's become really bossy and strident over the years. Likes to control everything, and stores up things for future use.

I believe she was the very first known example of a resealable bag.

I don't think you'll make much dough from publishing your poem, arr&bee.

Although, possibly, as part of an anthology called "Under The Influence Of Hooch", which might appeal to some readers. Everything has a market, somewhere.

"La, a note to follow so" is such a weak line.
