Survival of the species is obviously still paramount.
That seems to be the least of mankind's motivations in 2015. More like survival of the message.
Many would say they see no difference.
Maybe, but they're lying to themselves and us. The message, for the messengers, is validation through acting on the word of others. Even if that action is contrary to common sense or the survival of the species. That's the danger of religion. It's cool to believe and honor God but it should be personal. Less cool to think that you can force His word [[in your interpretation of it) upon someone who is not like minded. Usually there is someone, somewhere, pulling strings to make sure he is empowered by the zeal of others.
And then you get the polar opposite who believe that only their needs matter. It's all primeval. Get more power, collect more mates, sire more offspring so that your gene pool can live forever. And guess what? That's the same mindset that some religious leaders have and it's their primary motivation for 'spreading the message' as referenced in the above paragraph.
So it all comes full circle. The message is important ultimately for the survival of self and that need is what allows the strong to survive. Yin, meet Yang.
Yin and yang, they owe me money.
Is there anyone who you think may not?
Him? Of course not. He once took a wad of navel lint from a homeless man in lieu of payment after telling the man asked him if he knew the time. Every week, the homeless man is reminded that the amount he owes grows due to vigorish.
Because you clutched that lint with your bare feet, didn't you.....and don't you lie to me....
Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...darn it west you're too good, now look i have a nice bribe..opps,err,ahem,hehe...a nice cash offering now go buy something nice...you're desended from[sherlack hemms]that famous british sloth.
Isn't it elementary?
Of course, my dear Watson.
If you know what's good for you, you'll stay away from the Reichenbach falls.
I like a bit of edge.
If I find I simply can't stay away, I'm sure we'll all meet again, sometime, somewhere....
It's all a mystery to me.
Call Scooby, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and Greg. They're good at solving mysteries.

It's certainly a mystery that they're good at solving them.
They all look as if they might be a bit....well.... vulnerable.
That's where the Scooby Snacks come in play. Shaggy and Scoob take 'supplements' that energize them and allow them to solve crimes. Just goes to show you that Adderall has its effective uses.
I believe I could solve crimes with just one multivitamin tablet, and a cod liver oil capsule.
Not me. I would need all of the make-believe forensic tools that they use on television to figure out where I put my reading glasses in order to read the case files. Forget about solving crimes.
You'll find those reading glasses where you always put them - on top of your head.
If I could only keep from losing my head from time to time...:[[
If you had a spare, you'd find yourself ahead.
I once wondered why my vision had inproved so much, until i discovered that i still had my glasses on...darn hooch.
I see.....
I had a similar problem. My eye was hurting every time I drank a cup of tea, so I went to the doctor. He advised me to remove the spoon before sipping and somehow, the pain stopped.
Remarkable. Your doctor is possessed of great insight.
He's great like that. He's a true visionary.
Sounds totally out of sight....
And easy on the eyes...
A sight for sore eyes...
He has a good optician but nobody realized it. Nelson once greeted him by referring to him as a 'sight for a sore eye'.
As opposed to where his optician built his practice, which was a site for sore eyes.
In the Land of the Blind, the one-eyed man is king. In all other lands, he's "Ol' One Eye".
Who turned out the lights???
Welcome to the Land of the Blackout Blind.
I would light a match but that would be bad, very bad.
With your hooch-stained clothes, you would light up the whole world.
