You're right Marv,Mary is incredible,as i said before,Mary got a standing ovation,after she finish singing Here's To Life,Amazing,we the audience loved it.
Mary has a superb jazz voice. For me her voice has always been about ballads and singing jazz. Perhaps her few leads in the very early days being the exception On many uptempo songs she can sound very ordinary. Singing this kind of song she sounds like one of the jazz greats. IMO of course.
She is certainly enjoying herself is our Mary. I have never seen her so confident on stage.Good for her i say.
Wonderful! What a beautiful voice she has, and the years of experience give her timing and poise too. I think she should record a Sarah/Ella-type collection of standards, with a small jazz combo....
