PT Barnum, westgrand and 144man?
-
Indeed!...very Barnum & Bailey, Moe....
[[I made some shortbread for 144man's birthday. Would you like one.....?)
-
I don't understand the tins of shortbread assortments. There are different shapes, but they all taste the same. Am I missing something?
-
Front and center westgrand!!!
-
I think the different shapes were made at different times in history, perhaps for different purposes.
I make my shortbread, with additional semolina, in 'petticoat tails' [[a large circle, divided into segments, and originally designed to be eaten with wine) but there are also 'shortbread fingers' [[slightly daintier to eat and display, but am unsure if there is actually less or more shortbread than in the petticoat tails), and the small, shortbread 'rounds'.
Shortbread can be easily made in other shapes, for special occasions such as Christmas.
I expect it could be made in a capital 'M' for Motown, or Moe.....
A variation of it is Caramel Shortbread, with three layers - first the original shortbread, then caramel and, on top, milk chocolate [[sometimes called 'Millionaire's Shortbread')
I have yet to encounter a Low-Fat, or Low-Calorie Shortbread....:)
-
Shortbread, tallbread it's all dough to me.
-
But mighty tasty!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D
-
Is it readily available where you are, Moe?
If so, I guess it's made over there, or is it imported?
-
A coffee shop near my house makes it fresh on occasion. I don't think it holds a candle to anything from your neck of the woods. So imported it is!!!!!
-
Really? I sniff a market opportunity.....
How about ' Hotsville : the little kitchen on West Grand Boulevard' - ?
-
Hey that's good, you guys fill up on shortbread and then get over here and buy these wonderful products...bon appitete.
-
That little kitchen on West Grand Boulevard can make shortbread & the shortbread can make a tidy sum for you..............
No need for your stuff, R&B!

-
I'm a qualified practitioner of temperamentalism and sentimentalism.
Plus, I'm a good cook and too totalled to be completely tee total.
-
Too many big words, you english like big words,we americans are lazy and like small words...temperamentalism???
-
We invented English. You Americans were pleased to learn it, and then altered it.
Temperamentalism is a behavioural disorder. 10% temper, 90% mental. A high percentage of drivers are afflicted by it.
-
Behavioural disorder, now that i understand, see west all you gotta do is speak plain english.
-
Plain English can be really boring. I never speak to them.
-
Because they live on the plain??
-
No, you're thinking of cabin crew.
-
-
The only thing they can talk about is emergency exits for the audience.
-
Speaking of english it took centuries to evolve into what you fine lads and lassies speak today.
-
We're not quick learners, that's a certainty....
-
West doesn't great britain have ancient ties to the roman empire?
-
Yes, and they are all in dreadful designs and vile colours.
Great Britain is where Grecian 2000 originated. But then maybe you already knew that...?
