Tonight a tribute to Motown's velvety Velvelettes, including my very first "Nightflight" interview aired live about 15 years ago, when the show was on the air not from 9P-12M ET, but from Midnight to 3AM...awfully glad that was when I was younger. This first and 2 subsequent interviews are with Cal Street and Bertha McNeal, who were so gracious and kind to share their time, to talk Motown and their careers. Hello, John.

Back after a number of weeks of being too tired to get up at 2am. Disappointed at being away last week, so not able to hear your Brenda tribute. Looking forward to the Velvelettes.

Wonderin' if I'm the only person in the world who prefers Version 1 of "He Was Really Sayin' Somethin' " to the released version.

Well, I certainly did! John...I fell in love with Cal and Bertha all over again. And it was nice to hear the 3 different interviews , 2001, 2004,2007...all together.
