Yes. At those percentage rates, he could well afford to run a disloyalty card scheme.
Oh you want a card,of course i have em...but there's the tiny teeny little bit of interest...[$100.00 for every penny spent]inflation made me do it.
That, and a huge overdraft, many debts, and no financial resources. And that's just your customers....
Yes but i have a steady sourch of income, cash only.
Who uses cash in any quantity these days?
I do,i don't need banks and i don't use plastic, good old green is the way to go.
How do you clean the dye off your hands?
I'm green with envy, westgrand. How about you?
ERR,AHEM,HEHE,OPPS...NOW 144MAN NO NEED TO TALK ABOUT DYE...[it's never been proven]NEXT SUBJECT[GULP!!!]

You mean the color green gets on your nerves?

Green, the colour of envy...as in envy of people with dollars.

I'm waiting for your January Sales to start.
Happy new year gang,what's up?
Not this early in the new year........
And not before I catch up on my diaries and calendars. It's half past January already....
The shops are selling diaries and calendars half=price. Buy early for next year and save money!
Then I'd really be in a muddle!
I always need to have two slim calendars hanging in the kitchen. One for home routine tasks, and the other for appointments and special events which arise as the year passes.
I'd like to find a suitably attractive calendar which just gives the dates, and not also the relevant weekdays for each date. [[i.e. I'd like just January 15th, not Thursday January 15th) That way, the home routine tasks calendar needn't be altered as we enter each New Year.
They may be out there, but I never seem to see them. Probably considered bad for sales by the printers......
Well the gang's all here,so on with the wisdom, sage advise, and the all-knowingness of us here.....what????
We may be out there, westgrand!
I'm here Moe....but just don't ask me if I'm 'in' or 'out' until I've had a good strong coffee.....
Why can't we have a year consisting of 52 seven day weeks, with one day left over at the end of the year [[two on leap years) that doesn't fit into the normal Sunday to Saturday system? That way, 1st January would always be on a Sunday, 2nd January on a Monday etc. It would have the advantage of you knowing which day your birthday would be on, namely the same day every year.
Yes, it would certainly appear to be much simpler - but what would we all be doing about the 'one day over at the end of the year [[two on leap years) which doesn't fit into the normal Sunday to Saturday system'?
Too easy 144man!
Life should indeed be easier. It just keeps presenting us with difficulties....
The extra days would just be spare days. Hopefully they'd be public holidays. It would certainly simplify things, but I suspect there would be objections for religious reasons.
Hmmmm. But some of the other Sun-Sat days would also be public holidays.
I think your idea would be particularly attractive to the 'early elderly', of which it seems I am now a fully paid-up member. It becomes harder to remember which day it is, at the best of times.:)
That makes two of us, westgrand!!
Hi 144man!!!
Yes, hello 144man! I was beginning to forget what you sound like...
....He keeps reminding us at intervals, westgrand;)
I'm often reminded at intervals that I've been sitting too long, especially during very long shows....
