Ooo-wee. Both of these are new to me and both are so good. Especially VOODOO. Many thanks Oldies.
It's Your Voodoo Working sounds like music I've heard on True Blood. It gives you the heebie jeebies...Might as well add to this Louisiana gumbo. You all probably know this one, but Lee Dorsey is my favorite New Orleans soul singer.

New Orleans music has always been a rich big ole pot of hot spicy gumbo; that why it's
good. BTW, Kam, Lee Dorsey's music was the glue that connected George Clinton and Sly
Stone. In the track Funk Gets Stronger 2, from The Electric Spanking Of War Babies album
Sly paraphrases Lee with " Everything I do from now on is gonna be funkay!..." It was the best collaboration with Sly after his Family Stone days, though Crazy with Jesse Johnson
wasn't too shabby either. Pardon my disgression:)...
Oldies - What great stuff! Both VOODOO WOMAN & EVERYTHING are so cool and fun. Real pleasure. Many thanks.
