Good One! The Five Royales were pioneers of what I like to call 'hard doo-wop' and there's no forgetting their all-time-classic "Dedicated To The One I Love" [since it was covered by The Shirelles, The Mamas & The Papas & The Temprees]. Here's one of my favorites by the group.

And their sometime lead singer and main songwriter, Lowman Pauling was Motown's Clarence Paul's older brother. They were together in a Gospel group before Paul started with Motown.
