Would have loved to hear Martha and Jackie do this together but of course that could not happen.
I think Martha was at her vocal best during the 70s.
Yeah those 1970s Motown recordings and from what I heard on the "Gold" set, she was definitely ahead of her game vocally during that time.
Another great find, Meth2. Thanks! I sure do miss seeing The Vandellas on stage backing up Martha, though. After the '60s glory years, it's hard to think of Martha without 'em.
