Hello Night Owls:

As our sleepy friends in the states snore and all our soulies partners in the UK drift off into R.E.M. fanasties about the Wheel & the Wiggan. A few of us do hunt the web late into the evening.

I guess it goes back to all the nights I spent back in the day spinning records.

What a shame youth is really only allowed to be used by the young. I could not imagine at my age being in the places I so desperately wanted to be in back in my youthful days.

Now I relieve my youth by listening to, reminiscing about and enjoying classic tunes of my youth.

Do I feel bad about that, no not one bit. As I can see there are a bunch of others that do the same thing. lol

Here's to what we did in our youths. I must have been good, because we have taken to broadcasting it over the web just so we can relieve it again.

So play another record, pass me a drink and tell me about that story again......

Here is a little thing to ponder as you prepare to go out this evening as I go to bed and out uk friends have tea and bangers.

The equatorial radius of the earth is 6378 km and its speed or rotation at the equator is 1670 kilometers/hour with a 24-hour day. At Los Angeles with a latitude of +34 degrees the speed is 1670 x cos(34) = 1384 kilometers/hour. So that is how fast you are really moving while standing still in LA. No wonder it is known as such a fast town.

I have always envied the west coast for having the extra 3 hours. See monday night football and go out to the clubs and such.
