It is such a shame that a major amount of our great soul artists have only their 15 minutes and that is it.
It could be bad management, record deals, egos, supply of materiaal, who knows.
The Presidents became Anacostia on Columbia, for a minute, and Barbara Roy of EPP had some singles but that is all that I know at this time.

What happened to KING ARTHUR,the fan man?
He was on KYW-TV.We did a couple of his record hops in the 6ixties in Camden N.J.
I heard he is doing radio shows in N.J. on WNJC 1360AM. Is this the same KING ARTHUR?

Thanx ELI(countless in motown)That would be great.
No I'am from motown (DEARBORN MI.)I love the PHILLY SOUND and surrounding cities. We (the 5ive Invictas) were invited to perform some record hops for King Arthur and he was a kool and kind rockin D.J. then.I have some reel to reel tapes of some of his shows and the hops we did for him and BOB MACKS White Elephant. This is where we met LUGEE and THE LIONS (Lou Christie). Harrys Danceland was also a favorite Philly place of ours doing a few hops there for Porky Chedwick.
The White Elephant was where we first heard the Marvelettes do "FOREVER",It became a Pittsburg monster.
I sure hope this is the same KING ARTHUR.
