Brandi Wells, who recorded for the WMOT label,under the wings of Nick Martinelli and Fat Larry James in Philly and also under the name Slick,passed away.
She started her career singing for the Harthon label at age eleven on the song Shipwrecked.
Most of her friends caled her Peaches and her birth name was Marguerite Pinder.
She was married for a time to writer and producer Terry Price but they have been estranged for a very long time.

I neglected to mention that the name of the group on Harthon the Brandi sang with was called The Twilights.
Some of the songs on WMOT were Watch Out, which Nick martinelli named his production company after, Sunrise which was under the name Slick and Savannah which I produced on Brandi which had a slight "rock "edge ala Beat It by MJ.

I recorded The Twilights, Brandi was 9 years old she could sing then,but what made her so outstanding, she could sing background very well, rest in peace PEACHES.
