Has anyone actually heard any tracks from SITSOM played on your local radio station? I did this morning on the "oldies" station, I could't believe it! The DJ played You Keep Me Hangin' On and for a split moment I thought I had my CD on! You can imagine how confused I was. LOL!

Karyl --
Name the station and city ...give them a plug.

I've heard the SITSOM soundtrack at my local Starbucks.

Got it Sue....

The station is COOL 100, Orlando's 60s and 70s Superstation.

Once again, it was a thrill to hear the Funk Brothers solo on the radio! :-)

Karyl,
That wouldn't have been on Bob Berry's show, was it?

Sue,
No it wasn't Bob Berry. He has the weekly daily afternoon show and the song played this morning. I looked on the COOL's web site and didn't see this DJs name. You know Bob Berry?

If so, that's COOL! ;-)

It's the Detroit connection -- Bob is from here, listened to WKNR (Keener 13) as a teenager and knows Scott Regen. He just had him on the air down there a month back or so ...

I haven't met Bob personally, but we have a few friends in common.

Oh I meant to add -- Bob Berry is a big Funk Brothers fan, so he might have suggested the add ...

Closest I ever got out here was "What Became Of The Brokenhearted" on the Muzak system at Safeway. In the canned vegitable isle...in Coulee Dam, WA..about as far from soulfuldetroit as you can get. That's the only time I heard it outside of the CD player in my office.
