Well Done Jack & all the other Funks. Awards well deserved.

Jack,
on another soul list a member has been asking about a French (Disque Vogues label) LP that features a compilation of funky tracks. I believe the LP is titled something likes 'Billy Sha-rea & his pals get funky'. This LP features some 'LAURIE' B.Sh tracks, "Do It" and similar.

My question is, were you aware 'your' / Billy's tracks were being issued in France (licensed from Laurie) and what was the tie-up between Laurie & Spectrum (I assume Spectrum was a label owned by Laurie).
ALSO was "Let's Do It Again" (another French release, this time on 45) just an extension of "Do It" ???

Jack,
Did you realise that another of your old productions was recently released in the UK. A track on a TK compilation CD titled 'Sweet Brown Sugar' (released by Westside) is..
the Smith Brothers 76 Shield outing "Let Me Take Care of Your Heart" (a beautiful ballad). I know the trio had an earlier outing on Soul Dimension and included a JH Smith & JL Smith in their line-up. I presume you worked with them on this earlier 45 as well.
Did they cut any other stuff with you or for any other guys.

Jack I am really looking forward to seeing you guys out on tour hoping it is going to be soon again I would like to echo what stu said congratulations on all the honors, you guys more than deserve them

Jack,
A question for you...........
Do you have a spare 'hotel sheet' ????
I have my copy of your Magic Disc LP 'Hotel Sheet' and the cover & record are in great order, but I am missing the actual hotel sheet itself.
I have no musical talent but that there 'sheet' would sure look good hung on my record room wall.

CyberCowGrrl - Would you let Karen know that the picture of the vocalist singing "Stop In The Name of Love", is not Mary Wells, but in fact it is "Mary Wilson." Thank you.

Jack,
More re: Sandra Richardson. A popular 'acetate' track from her is an unreleased Buddah item, 'You Can't Hide From Love'.
Did you produce this ???
If so, did you know it will get it's 1st ever official release this year.
It is due to be issued on a (R Searling) Expansion compilation CD here in the UK this year.
