Didn't know it existed. Sounds early-mid '80's-ish.

Great title! But where did MARY hide this one? Anyone know what label? It must have been prior to "Gigolo".
| |
"Orpheus" label. There are a lot of covers of her old stuff. There is a song called "I Feel For You" on there, I think it is the Chaka Khan song. Gotta play to see.

These tunes have probably been reissued under a lot of different covers. I first saw these songs (MONEY TALKS, I FEEL FOR YOU, etc.) when they released as bonus tracks on the cd edition of her THE OLD, THE NEW, THE BEST OF MARY WELLS album on Allegiance.

Yea, I think that is some stuff that Wayne Henderson produced...after the EpicLP.I have a CD at home as Reese mentioned. Mary did most of the vocals in one take.Kurtis did some of the backgrounds.

Dance With Me is not really a legit release. It's
a reissue of sorts with a photo of Mary on the
cover from her Atco lp (1966). Where or how they
came up with that title is beyond me. It has
a lot of the above mentioned material on it--
it could possibly be bootlegged; probably not
from the master tapes.

Miss Mary Wells was missed!
..... on the Motown 45 special event held and filmed last eve. For M-25 in 1983, Mary performed "My Guy".
Let's see how much she is mentioned or film-clipped on the actual show.
New M-45 airdate: Mon., May 3rd @ 9 p.m. NY time/
6 p.m. CA time.

These came from the sessions of THE OLD, THE NEW, THE BEST OF MARY WELLS, that Henderson produced. I think they all came out great!! -- After the In And Out Of Love album came Mary's EASY TOUCH album; have you heard it Randy or STONEWALL? I have a copy of it!! Mary gave it to me, haha Randy, you and your brother!! Mary just loved her guy, Spookey!!
