I wonder whatever became of some of the artists on Birdie Records that was based in a record shop on Gratiot Ave. Artists such as Rick Smith and Salvadore. The latter did a version of Jackie Wilson's "To be loved" in 1982, produced by Van Cephus and Michael Powell, exec. producer was Sam Spano.
