Anyone know if copies of G.C. Camerons planned 1972 Mowest LP, Seventh Son, were actually produced in test pressing or promo formats. The album was assigned a release number & listed as an actual release in the UK Blues and Soul mag but was actually withdrawn before making the shops. I know the Mowest label release policy was quite strange, especially with regard to their albums. In the US, 22 LP numbers were allotted for album releases, but only 14 artists / titles were assigned to actual album release numbers and of these only 10 were eventually released. Would copies of the unreleased LP planned on the Blackberries also exist ??

I have GC's lp with SYREETA , and a cd with GC doing a duet with the legendary MARTHA REEVES singing 'You're all I need to get by'.....which not nearly as poorly produced as the other NIGHTMARE/Motorcity recordings by the odeous one,Ian Levine...it's a shame! |
