Hello Steve,
You must have an impressive collection of 45s. I'd like to take advantage of this opportunity to verify some label info' I have listed.
You've previously mentioned the Five Dapps on Johnnie Mae's Northern label. Would you be kind enough to spell out the exact credits printed on the label for me please (5 Five, Five Dapps - Johnnie Mae etc')?
The Northern release numbers are:
3732 - Dreamer/Indian Joe
3729 - Mr. Fine/Someday

Also, the Nomad's 45 (release # 503) that you have; Who are the songwriters credited on this release?
Many thanks, Graham

HEY Acoolcat,I wiil dig through my boxes of demos and 45's and get you the information you are looking for.All my ,or I should say most of my music library songs and artists are in a hugu register hand writin, and all I wrote was ---LABLE,ARTIST, TRACK Name, and on some, the yr.Some day when I can retire I might learn this computer B.S. and get the program called "COPY CAT" which will store all music in an inventory.Wait a minute,I just got a great idea.My wife dont work(more ways then one)I'll have her do that. That will keep her busy for a few months.I'll tell her this was your idea.Way to go COOLCAT. Hey Steve! What happened with Club 182? George K would like to talk to you but he doesn't have your phone number. I'll be at the Clawson tomorrow night so I'll give it to him. We really have to get to work on this fundraiser because there's a lot to do, and September isn't that far off! Please give me a call, or better yet, come up to the Clawson tomorrow night. Also, George spoke with Lee Alan, and he's graciously agreed to be our MC for the evening! This is gonna be good...really good!

Millie,I will try to make The Clawson tonight, depends what time I leave Jamies. The club 182 only has a seating capacity of 350,(to small) and when I went there Wensday to talk to them they said they no longer rent to the public anymore, unless your a member of local 182.Their loss.I'am bending a few ears with the people I work with through FO.MO.CO.So far the ears perked up when I mentioned this, and being we do all the commercials for FO.MO.CO.,one of the producers seems interested,he thought of rightaway a good spot commerical live from wherever. My Idea of this would be to get Gil and band to do a line from GET READY only change the words to,"Never met a Ford that makes me feel the way that you do'Your Alright".So many Ideas can be put toghter on this by all,but we have no time to drag a--. Talk to you soon,or call me.(home# 313 br.8-3031,work-1-800-327-6174ex,147) Steve "the Count"PS,do we want to do raffles to raise more money?if so I will start on a guitar rightaway and keep it at the Clawson so tickets can start to be sold ASAP.(I posted a picture of a flamed guitar I did for a door prize for one of our dances, did you get to it yet? What do you and others think?)

Hello Steve!
We missed you at the Clawson Saturday night...George, Dennis, Guy and I were talking about the logistics of the reunion, and we feel you need to be on one of our committees...not sure exactly which one yet! Jamie should be involved as well, because he can get the word out at Jammer's and that would help our cause. Apparently George spoke with Lee Alan, and he said he'd be happy to MC the reunion. Give George a call at the Clawson Wednesday-Saturday...the best time to reach him would be around 7-7:15 since he goes on at 7:30pm. We all think your Kar Klub is another excellent vehicle to let everyone know what's going on. Take care.

The Inkster shuffle!!!!! Man do we go back! The run-around,the bop,the dirty boogie, the madison, the chicken&you aint cool unless you can drop down and pick up a hanky with your teeth while doing the chicken.Ever hear of a band called the Egyptions.I went to school at Inkster Roosevelt on Beech Daly and we would have them at partys,at the time we thought they were really cool, like Wash-board Willie and his Super Suds of Rythim.I never saw you guys play as I was working at the same time, but we were well aware of your group the Invictas. You guys had a good rep.Let me know the next time your in Wayne at the old fire acadamy,I,d like to hook up and trade old stories.

Coolcat&count:Thanks, coolcat for the offer. It might be easier to copy it from the count as he lives a tad bit closer. As far as who was in the egyptians I don't know,we were young kids that just danced our ass's off when they played around Inkster&Dearborn.Yes I have my drums as I've played with the Blue-Notes,from77'till about a year ago,as of now, just trying to keep my chops up.
I can't make the gig tonight as I have a family picnic, but you can count on me showing up in the future.Maybe I can get Andy Alonzo to come along with me.

Dave...
I don't think Steve will see your message. He's decided to stay off the forum for awhile...he's upset about a few things, and has decided to lay low. I do believe he'll be at Jack Barr's for the 4th, at least that's what he told me. I'm sure he'll fill you in on what's going on when you see each other. You could give him a call.
